Scope and Description of Work

• Recruiting caregivers from different local areas.

  • Training and inducting all recruited care givers.
  • Doing home visit and identifying families and individuals in need.
  • Escorting clients for relevant services e.g. ID’s and birth certificates.
  • Escorting eligible clients to SASA for Social Grant applications.
  • Doing referrals to DSD and Health facilities.
  • Reporting to, and working jointly with social workers.
  • Reporting to, and working jointly with health workers.

• Food parcel distribution to 30 households every month on rotation basis.

  • Working hand and hand with ward councillors and Indunas for easy and fairly provisioning of relevant services.
  • Facilitate and participate in the development of self-help projects and promote healthy lifestyle. E.g. gardening and poultry farming projects.
